Below is a small selection of objects that were sketched at the
eyepiece of my 8" Reflector or 4" Refractor.
The deep sky images were then scanned and inverted to recreate
their appearance in the night sky.
Deep Sky objects I have observed include Galaxies, Globular Clusters,
Open Clusters and Nebula.
Also included are some observations of the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn
and a Comet.
I have also recently aquired a digital camera and camera
bracket for use with my telescopes - the results of my
initial tests can be seen at the bottom of this page, although
I personally still prefer to sketch objects.
